Sting, accompanied by an electric rock band, will deliver a dynamic show, performing his most beloved songs from throughout his illustrious career as both a member of The Police and as a solo artist. The setlist will include timeless and classic hits such as "Fields of Gold", "Roxanne", "Every Breath You Take", "Message in a Bottle", among many others of his iconic songs. Sting's recent performances have been praised as "mastery lessons" by The Times (UK), with him described as "great" by The Guardian for his wonderful pop persona.

 

Tickets go on sale at 1pm local on 2 April with a Sting.com members presale commencing the same day at 11am (local).


Composer, singer-songwriter, actor, writer and activist Sting was born in Newcastle, England before moving to London in 1977 to form The Police alongside Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. The band released five studio albums, won six GRAMMYs and two Brits, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.


One of the world's most iconic solo artists, Sting has received an additional 11 GRAMMY Awards, two Brits, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, four Oscar nominations, a Tony nomination, and has sold more than 100 million albums with both The Police and as a solo artist. He is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and has received honors from the Kennedy Center, as well as honorary PhDs in Music from Northumbria University (1992), Berklee College of Music (1994), Newcastle University (2006) and Brown University (2018).


Sting, managed by Martin Kierszenbaum/Cherrytree Music Company, has appeared in more than 15 films, various TV shows and authored two books, including the best-selling novel, "Broken Music," according to the New York Times list. In 1989 he starred on Broadway in The Threepenny Opera. His most recent play is the Tony Award-nominated musical The Last Ship, inspired by his memories of the shipbuilding community of Wallsend in the northeast of England, where he was born and raised.


In 2019 he released the album My Songs, featuring contemporary renditions of his most famous hits, followed by a tour around the world and a successful residency in Las Vegas. His most recent album, The Bridge, showcases the complexity and variety of his creative journey, representing various phases and styles from across his unparalleled career. Most recently, Sting produced Shaggy's album, Com Fly Wid Mi, where the iconic reggae artist performs Sinatra's songs to reggae rhythm and was honored with a Grammy nomination.


Last year, Sting became a Fellow of the Ivors Academy – the highest honor available to those who have reshaped and redefined the art and technique of music creation, while his hit song, "Every Breath You Take," was added to Spotify's 'Billions Club', having amassed over 1 billion streams on the platform, with the corresponding music video surpassing 1 billion streams on YouTube.


Sting's support for human rights organizations such as Amnesty International and Live Aid reflects his art with its universal impact. Together with his wife, Trudie Styler, Sting founded the Rainforest Fund in 1989 to protect the world's rainforests and the populations that live there. Together they have organized 19 charity concerts to raise awareness of our planet's vulnerable resources. At the Odeon of Herodus Atticus concert, Sting's special guest will be Giordana Angi.


As a songwriter, the multi-talented Giordana Angi has written #1 songs for platinum artists Tiziano Ferro and Loredana Bertè. As a performer, she’s sung at the prestigious San Remo Festival, appeared regularly on Italy’s most popular TV show “Amici,” and achieved PLATINUM status with her own albums.
